1. Data controller

2. What we collect
- Data you give us: name, email and, optionally, phone number, when you join the waitlist.
- Data collected automatically: device and browser information, IP address, and pages viewed, through cookies
and similar technologies.
3. Why we use your data & legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
- Manage your waitlist sign-up and contact you about the next drop — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Send marketing emails/SMS about drops and offers — consent (you can withdraw anytime).
- Measure, secure and improve the site and prevent abuse — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Advertising and measuring our campaigns (including on Meta) — consent for non-essential cookies / legitimate
interest.
- Comply with legal and tax obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
4. Who we share it with
We use trusted providers acting as our processors:
- Shopify — website and store hosting.
- Klaviyo — email and SMS marketing.
- Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising and the Meta Pixel. (Remove this line if you do not use
the Meta Pixel.)
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some providers (Klaviyo, Meta, Shopify) are based in the United States. Such transfers are protected by EU
Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Retention
We keep your waitlist data until you unsubscribe or request deletion, and thereafter only for as long as
required by law.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, and to
withdraw consent at any time. To exercise them, email hello@getslou.com. You may also lodge a complaint with
the Italian Data Protection Authority — Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
8. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics and advertising, including the Meta
Pixel. You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie banner or your browser settings. (If you do not
use the Pixel, remove the reference.)
9. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published here applies.
